Our Story

Eileen Lysaught founded Lysaught Law to provide a value-driven alternative in the business and employment law market. Lysaught Law is a boutique law firm specializing in business and employment law located in the Chicago’s Northcenter neighborhood. Our clients have offices around the country, including Illinois, North Carolina, Tennessee, Arizona, New York, and California. We also serve clients locally in the Loop, West Loop, Lincoln Square, Ravenswood, and Chicago suburbs. We get to know you and your company while being very accessible.

With 16 years of hands-on business and legal experience, having worked as a litigator in a large Chicago law firm and as a General Counsel for a family-owned, Chicago-based manufacturing company, Eileen understands first-hand the issues involved in running a business as well as the corresponding law.

Our Team.

As founder and principal of Lysaught Law Office, Eileen Lysaught has broad experience handling both specialized and day-to-day General Counsel duties and executive management.

Following seven years of litigation and insurance-related work, Eileen joined an international consumer goods manufacturer as General Counsel. Over the next 11 years, Eileen oversaw the corporation’s Legal, Human Resource, Quality, Compliance and Operations Departments. As the Vice-President of Operations & General Counsel, Eileen realized that many small and mid-sized companies cannot justify the cost of a full-time General Counsel. In 2009, she created Lysaught Law Office to pioneer that business and employment law value-driven alternative.
